I first learned about the program through a Facebook post. I wanted more information so I checked out the website and did some research. I really liked the coaching element and the fact that members can talk to people who understand the science of losing weight.
When I first read about PowerUP, I really liked how they try to make the plan fit into someone’s preexisting lifestyle and schedule. I had previously tried fitting other weight loss plans into my daily life and it ended up being really difficult.
When I first heard about the program I had just transitioned into new job - my last job was extremely stressful and I had put on a lot of weight. I was at a point where my kids were pretty self-sufficient and I was mentally ready to commit myself to making a change in my own life.
I’ve always struggled with my weight. I tried Weight Watchers twice before and have seen some success, but with PowerUP I haven’t yo-yo’d like I did with other plans. The thing that was different with PowerUP was that I never felt hungry. The nutrition plan was amazing, especially with my family. I didn’t have to cook two separate meals. With PowerUP’s nutrition plan my energy levels were much higher and I felt stronger.
